REMIDIAL GRAMMAR I



You are required to choose minimally 5 numbers of the following topics you  still don’t understand so far, then you:
1.    find as many books/references as possible related to the topics you  choose. The references can be from books or internets. 
2.    Don’t edit or make any changes over the contents of the references.  You must  type the contents as they are exactly from the source of the references.
3.    Don’t forget to write down the sources you choose
4.    Each topic you type/choose must have its own exercises respectively. Then you answer the exercises by yourself.
5.    The exercises are at least 10 numbers and at most 20 numbers for each topic.
6.    Your work must be submitted in the form of paper by the end of August (31 August) and put it into my locker
7.    Your soft-copy must be emailed to tugas314jtw@gmail.com
8.    Don’t forget to write your name,NIM, and concatable number

2.    Sentence pattern I – N (sbj) + be + Noun
-            Five basic tenses (eight forms of ‘be’: Simple Present/Past/ Future,  Present Continuous/ Perfect
3.    Sentence Pattern II – N (sbj) + be + adjective Three types of adjectives:     
-            ordinary and derived (Present and Past Participle)
4.    Sentence Pattern III – N (sbj) + be + Adverb
5.    Sentence Pattern IV – N (sbj) + be + to infinitive
-            Declarative: Affirmative and Negative
-            Interrogative: Yes/No-Questions
6.    Introductory ‘it’ (Sentence Pattern V)
7.    Introductory ‘there’ (Sentence Pattern VI)
8.    Information Questions: what, who/whom, when, where, and how

10. Sentence Pattern VIII – (N (sbj) + Vb + Adjective
11. Sentence Pattern IX – (N (sbj) + Vb + N (Pred. Noun)
